Due to Covid-19, the situation in Bali, from an economic standpoint, has become very critical and it is getting worse every day. The island of Bali has a permanent population of 4 million people, and it is estimated 85% of them are employed in tourism and now, out of work. The impact of the Covid-19 started to impact Bali in March 2020 and tourists stopped coming. In April around 90% of tourism businesses closed and still today, one year later, the airport is not open to international travel. Every day more and more Balinese are starting to run out of money, with no end in sight. If Bali has touched your heart, now is the time to give back.
